Frank D. Leatherman, Jr., MAI, CCIMFrank D. Leatherman, Jr, MAI, CCIM, is a partner in Leatherman Real Estate Services LLC (established in 1991) and serves as chief appraiser. LRES is a full service commercial real estate function providing appraisal services, brokerage and consulting. Mr. Leatherman is a native of Raleigh and a graduate of the University of NC at Chapel Hill. He is a Certified General Real Estate Appraiser, a licensed NC Real Estate Broker, a member of the Appraisal Institute and a CCIM. Having an extensive background in the banking and real estate genres, Mr. Leatherman has appraised a variety of commercial properties including office buildings, shopping centers, subdivisions, apartments, restaurants, industrial properties, vacant land, historic properties, mixed-use developments, golf courses, cotton gins, waste treatment facilities, landfills, municipal and institutional properties. Mr. Leatherman has extensive experience in eminent domain issues providing expert testimony for municipalities and property owners. Mr. Leatherman's client relationships include some of the nations major financial institutions and development companies, attorneys, municipalities, public and private corporations as well as individual property owners.

Carolyn B. Terry, Managing Partner, Certified General Real Estate Appraiser, and Broker has been with Leatherman Real Estate Services LLC since its inception in 1991. Ms. Terry manages the daily administrative and financial functions of LRES as well as providing appraisal, commercial/residential brokerage services and consulting. A native of Charlotte where she started her real estate career, she has an extensive background in leasing, property management and development of residential and commercial properties. Prior to her real estate experience, Ms. Terry worked in Sales and Human Resources.

Jessica Rouse is a Registered Trainee Appraiser, working toward becoming General Certified and pursuing her MAI designation. Jessica is from Newtown, CT and graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor's Degree in Management with concentrations in International Business and Marketing. She gained experience in the real estate industry through an internship with Trinity Real Estate in New York City as their Strategic Planning and Business Development intern before relocating to Raleigh. Jessica has experience in appraising a variety of commercial property types including subdivisions, offices, industrial facilities/warehouses and estate portfolios.
Herman Leatherman joined LRES in June 2013 as a Research Coordinator and received his Trainee certification in December of 2015. He was previously part- time with LRES while attending college. Herman graduated with a BA in History, Cum Laude in May 2013 from Barton College. He plans to pursue an appraisal career working toward a General Certification and MAI designation.
Jessica Williams joined LRES in 2014 as a Research Assistant. She became a licensed Trainee Appraiser in 2015. Jessica, a Raleigh native, graduated from North Carolina State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Communication concentrating on Public Relations. Prior to joining the LRES team she operated her own small retail business that she began in 2008. Jessica always had a passion for the real estate industry and took a less active role in her company to join LRES. She is working toward her General Certification and is an Active Practicing Affiliate of the Appraisal Institute.
